Navajo Art and Culture

Hello students! Today you are going to learn about the life and art of the Navajo, the largest tribe of North American Indians. As you travel through the land and life of the Navajo, you will learn many interesting things about this group of Native Americans.

 Instructions:

Your team is assigned to go through each page of this lesson and discover all that you can about the Navajo. There are activities for you to complete along the way as you read and explore the pictures on the pages. The following symbols will be used along the way to help you:

Click on the lizard to go to a separate page that shows you more information and images about the Navajo. The page will open in a separate window. When you are through reading the page click on the "x" in the top right corner to return to the previous page. The lizard will also take you to instruction sheets that you need to complete the lessons.

The eagle symbol is used to direct you to a new project.

Click on the Glossary symbol in the table of contents to find definitions for words that you come across as you read.

The blue arrows on the bottom of the page take you forward or back one page in the lesson.
